s(NO) More Please

I really don't mind the snow that much but it's still around and we are expecting more this week and not the fun make an igloo on your street kind. It's the rain, I'm gonna cause lot's of accidents and make getting to your gig miserable kind. I don't mind this extended winter but let's keep it dry, cold and snowy please.

SNOMG

It's hard to say how much snow we really got but I think was around 2 feet on Sunday and another foot as of today. I did get a snow day yesterday but today I had to return to work (only 6 out 25 were able to "make it in"). It was pretty for a minute but soon it will be a lot of slush and ice and icicles and water in my basement. Eleanor got hit in NYC yesterday with less than a foot and my mom was without heat or electricity for 3 days but now things in DC are starting to come around. 6 more weeks of winter indeed.

My Amazing Race through Culver City

For the few of you not on facebook and for those who are and looking for explanations. For my birthday party this year I hosted a race through Culver City. The idea was that solving all the clues would eventually lead them to the location of my birthday party. Overall it went well and people had a good time. Luckily the rain held so no one got wet. Of course there was some frustration from those trying to run the race and from Connie and I trying facilitate it. Technology was not on our side at all times. But hey memories for all. Visiting Grandma Toby

Hi all,
I am writing from sunny Florida, visiting with Grandma Toby. I also got to see Grandpa Dave and Helen, Emily and Gena & Max. Everyone is fine, even though moving slowly. We have gone to the Y, eaten out, gone to the Flea market and moved furniture and of course played Scrabble! Tomorrow we get to go to the horse show. We hope to see the Olympic riders Steffen Peters, Isabella Werth, & Anky Von G. Musical Freestyle is the highlight of the Saturday night show under the lights. I'll send pics if I can get some good ones.
