An Addition to the Best Victorian Wedding (finally)

Yes, it has taken me a while, but here are a few pictures for the enjoyment of all from the great Victorian Wedding.

Martin 'forced' the group of cousins to eat lunch at the aquarium after a morning of exploring the giant Houston mall. There were huge aquariums (apparently larger than Eleanor's apartment) filled with entertaining see life - - from sea horses to scary bright green eels. We drank some big margaritas and tried not get caught up in the whistle blowing kids.

We also got lost a bit on the way back. (Which seemed to be the theme of the trip, at least for Jessica and Connie.) I guess after the aquarium we knew where we were...we just didn't know how to get back on the Interstate. The vehicle would not seat all of us, so turns were taken sitting in the back....and ducking from cops (as demonstrated here.)

It was really good to spend some time with everyone (and to play a little dress up). Congratulations again from the happy couple!

Our Second Attempt

As most of you know we threw a small backyard bash to celebrate our legal signing of our marriage license. We found an ordained rollergirl to marry us and since we already exchanged rings a couple years ago- she suggested we exchange keg stands. This totally set the mood of the party and I think was a hilarious way to start of the night. We have to thank Miriam too for all her hard work. She made the amazing rainbow balloon arch (hilarious) and great three-tiered cake. She may have found her calling in backyard gay weddings.

Before Galvaston

Here are some pictures from the wedding. We had a great time in Houston-can't wait for the next get together! We did quick trip into Chicago and had fun at Cloud Gate. For those of you who have seen The Dark Night we had dinner at Twin Anchors. What? The scene where two face shot shot the guy in the bar was filmed at the restaurant. My first blog. Steve

Best Victorian Wedding Ever...

Thanks everyone for the memories. Connie and I had really great time in Spring, TX. Between the Olympic coverage, Lonestar beer, and horrible map reading it was a weekend to remember. Much love to Darryl and Carol- it was a fabulous wedding. Everyone please share your photos- we have only a couple that came out in focus.

Off to HOUSE-TON

We are outta here in a couple of hours.  Super ready for Houston to show us a fabulous weekend.  Also very excited to see everyone and celebrate a happy event.  More pictures to come of the city when we actually see it.
